Finally got all the new Circle One skimboards onto the site.

New for this year is their revised soft top skimboard, that now comes with a regular hard bottom, but with heavy duty soft deck and rails. They now comes in 3 sizes too, 41″, 45″ and 50″, and they start from under £100, with free delivery!

Sat here in French Eric’s house on the island of Oleron, I can confirm that skim is already going off on day 1 of the Oleron Skim Fest.

An uneventful ferry crossing and drive through France, followed by 12 hours sleep, meant we were ready to hit up the liners that Oleron is renown for.

Swell is forecast for the entire weekend, so here’s some pic’s of today to get you in the mood!

So it’s upon us, we are packing up and shipping out to France over the Easter weekend, for week of non stop skim and surf.

Rest assured, we will have plenty of footage and photos for your amusement when we return.

So because of our trip to France the shop will be closed while we are are away.

It’s now less than a month until we pack up and ship out to the Île d’Oléron in France for our annual trip to see our French cousins!

We have 4 people confirmed for the trip this year; Matt, Mark, Adam & Dan, who are all hoping for some fun on the legendary liners. That’s not to mention the superb French beer/wine, baguettes, croissants and happy times with our host Eric, and the rest of the French skim crew.

Following on from last week’s video; bodyboarding on snow, we have just uploaded another snow video to the Sandskater You Tube Channel.

The video was filmed on Dartmoor at the height of the snowy period in February 2009. Most of the moor was only accessible to 4×4’s, so we took advantage of the conditions and got a load of the Sandskater crew together and towed them behind a Land Rover on skimboards and bodyboards.
