Banshee Bungee has arrived!

We have taken delivery this week of the fantastic new Banshee Bungee!

Basically, its a 20ft long bungee rope that can be stretched to over 200ft, and launch you at over 30mph! Some of the bungee packages come with 2 or 3 bungee ropes, so you can link a few bungees together to get an even faster & longer pull.

When used with the correct anchor, it can allow skimboarders to reach waves further out that wouldn’t be reachable with just running and side slipping.

But it doesn’t stop there. Banshee Bungee packages can be used to give a boost to any kind of board sport. You can use it with skateboards, snowboards, wakeboards & wake skates, to name a few. The possibilities are endless!

Lets take a closer look into the world of Banshee Bungee…

We have already been out this week testing the new banshee bungee system with our skimboards. We got to say its pretty awesome, and the speed is way more than you could ever get from just running.

It’s definitely going to come into its own when the waves a breaking just a little bit to far out to reach. With the help from the bungee, you are going to be able to explore more beaches and skim in more varied conditions than ever before.

Here’s an introduction on how to use the Banshee Bungee for bungee skimming:

This is another option if you aren’t near the coast, or if you want to add another dimension to your fun!

You can use a Banshee Riverboard and bungee in your local river!

Just attach one of the bungee to a tree, shrub or rock, attach the other end to the base of the riverboard and let the river take you downstream - this stretches the bungee.

Now move the board out of the water, and you will get launched upstream at speeds of over 30mph. The bungee release system is designed to fall away from the board to allow you to perform tricks like shuvits and 360’s!

If you have already got a skimboard, then your best bet would be to get one of the regular bungee packages, as you will be able to use this in any set up - be it beach, river or flooded field.
