After the recent online store overhaul, we have now moved onto the blog and given it a good ol’ change around.
The first thing we have changed is the styling to bring it inline with the rest of the site. Then while we were at it, we added some cool interactive features for you to play with too!
Let’s take a closer look at what’s been added:
- Social Networking Bookmarks
At the end of every post, we have now included an easy bookmarking tool which allows you to bookmark the post to your favourite social site like Myspace, Facebook etc, or submit it to an online bookmarking tool like Google Bookmarks, Windows Live etc. Alternatively, bookmark the post direct to your favorites folder of your browser, or send an email about the post to a buddy! - Post Rating
Each post can now be rated for its usefulness (or not!) by using the nifty star rating tool at the end of each post. On the right hand side menu bar, you can check out the top 10 rated posts! - Most Popular Posts
Also on the top 10 posts page, you’ll see the 5 most popular posts from the Sandskater Blog. How it works out the most popular post is quite clever, and as we aren’t that clever, we are not able to explain to you how it does it - it just does!
- Related Posts
At the end of each page you’ll find the new “related posts” feature. It pretty much does what it says on the tin, and gives a list of 5 related posts to the one you are currently reading.
Staying Updated
There are plenty of ways to stay in touch with Sandskater blog including rss feeds, and free daily email updates. If you want to know more, here’s an overview of all the different ways to stay connected with Sandskater.
