To capitalise on the interest generated from the recent British Skim Championships, we have organised a Skim Jam at Challaborough on the first bank holiday weekend in May:
Sandskater Skim Jam
Date: Sunday 6th May

Place: Challaborough Bay, South Devon.
Note: As with all skim jams, the date/beach is liable to change if conditions dictate.
Remember, the skim jams aren’t contests, they are designed as an informal gathering of skimboarders (of all skill levels) who come to together to chill out, have a bit of fun, and learn from each other. We always carry demo boards in the back of the van, so if you want to come and try before you buy, then you are more than welcome! Some Sandskater team members will be on hand to dish out some tips and advice!
High tide is sometime in the morning, so we will confirm the time of the meet, once we have checked the actual tide times. High tide will give all the wave riders amongst you some fun, and when the tide drops back, the flatlanders can have their play time! The pub and takeaway will be open, so come down and join in the fun!
