The skim contest held at Preston Beach in Paignton at the weekend was a huge success.
The event was blessed with scorching hot sunshine for both days, and had a large number of competitors of all ages who came to test their skimboarding skills.
Thanks to all the competitors who helped make this a fantastic event. Big thanks to the 3 judges (Liam, Chris and Graham) who did a sterling job standing out in the hot sun on both days.
Thanks must also go to the event organisers and sponsors: Sandskater, The Boathouse (including Fosters and Coca Cola) and Perry Mason Solictors. A special mention of thanks to Bob Brewis from the Community Partnership who liased between the event organisers and Torbay Council.
